Sponsorship - Giovanna's Gift

Giovanna’s Gift is a small local charity that was formed in 2012 after the Ienco family lost their beautiful teenage daughter Giovanna, to ovarian cancer. Giovanna is the youngest female in Victoria to lose her life to ovarian cancer, a battle that was lost within 10 weeks of diagnosis at the age of 15.
Since established, Giovanna’s Gift has been working tirelessly to raise awareness of ovarian cancer in the local community, particularly with our young people.
Giovanna’s Gift is the sole sponsor of a room (Giovanna’s Room) at Ronald McDonald House in Parkville. Ronald McDonald House provides a ‘home away from home’ for families with a seriously ill child undergoing specialist paediatric medical and surgical care at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Our Gala Event will take place on 6 October 2018 at the Grand Hotel Mildura. We are planning to raise in excess of $25,000, for the continued funding of “Giovanna’s Room”.
Funds raised will also provide gift vouchers for fuel, food, incidentals, and subscriptions to those families that may need to be accommodated in “Giovanna’s Room”.

In appreciation of any donations received over $1000.00 we will acknowledge our corporate and major sponsors at our Gala Event and through communications on social media.
